Fullarton Pharmacy is based on Oxford Street, Belfast, Northern Ireland. A friendly local pharmacy that offers a variety of off the shelf and over the counter remedies together with other health focused products.

The Project

During 2017 the team at Fullarton were looking to fit out the Pharmacy. With a huge range of options, the choice of retail shelving was paramount to ensuring each product was displayed effectively. It also needed to maximise the space available and reflect its brand colours and values. In order to achieve this they approached shopfitting experts Shop Design and Fit (SDF) to get ideas.

After consultation with the Shop Design and Fit team they were introduced to the CAEM range of pharmacy shelving and the special items available to them. After examining their options the team settled on CAEM's time tested TN9 retail shop shelving solution with colour options. These were combined with custom items and strategic lighting to make darker areas stand out and enhance particular products.

The Solution

With over half a century in the retail shelving industry and a dedicated line of pharmacy shelving products CAEM shelving was the perfect choice for the Fullarton Pharmacy.

The solution uses the CAEM modular TN9 shop shelving system combined with metal, glass shelf options, timber and even lighting to enhance the space and the look of the retail display and shelves . The TN9 is strong, reliable and allows for a large amount of product to be merchandised at once. The powder coated finish, unlike standard paint is wear resistant and long lasting.

Each area of the space was carefully thought through to ensure that each product was effectively displayed. Shop Gondolas were installed in White and complementary Grey to enhance the pharmacy and get away from a blanket of traditional White. Some areas are broken up with splashes of Red, but it all works seamlessly together.

Custom woodwork and glass completes the look and provides a clear and hygienic environment for customers and staff.
