Ôbio is an organic shop group based in Switzerland. The Business is based on a passion for quality products and a strong desire to promote healthy and ethical nutrition for all.

The shops offer a broad range of food products, textiles and cosmetics created with respect for the environment and human beings. Additionally they give priority to local artisans and producers.

The Project

With its ethical and natural outlook, when it came to shopfitting its retail stores Ôbio wanted to encompass modernity, naturalness and provide a friendly atmosphere. Any shop shelving should be formed from natural materials and where possible be recycled. 

Any solution also needed to reflect its brand and encompass the huge range of products stocked. This would include not only regular packaged goods, but chilled items and even self-service, package free dispensers.

The Solution

The Ôbio team understood its audience and knew the importance of getting the retail fitout right. For this they engaged with Arcadium in Switzerland to understand the different options and develop the perfect solution.

When it came to the shelving it needed to be a reliable, proven shop fitting system that could be custom coloured to reflect the brand. Arcadium approached CAEM to provide its revolutionary M25 retail shelving solution and complementary timber accents. 

The M25 store solutions are powder coated in dark Grey to give it a crisp modern look, and the timber accents provide a warm inviting feel that reflects the Ôbio brand. The M25 system allows them to reconfigure areas easily and due to its clever design, merchandise more product. This capacity is further enhanced by the addition of hanging EPOS that allows product to be merchandised right up to the shelf.

Wire risers where required, ensure that product does not slide off, plus baskets and other options flex the shelving units to more effectively display and dispense different products. The addition of packaging free solutions such as gravity dispensers hung from the M25 store shelving allows for customers to bring in their own containers and Ôbio to sell by weight.
