The Project

The team at the hypermarket were looking to modernise their premises. They wanted to update the shop shelving and shop fittings to attract and retain more customers, improve retail displays, visibility of products and ultimately increase sales.

They required a range of shop shelving options in modern colours to complement the brand values. They wanted areas with wooden accents to provide a warm inviting look and feel. Plus they wanted enhancements such as LED shelf lighting in certain areas of the store to make products stand out.

The Solution

As experts in the provision of Hypermarket and Supermarket Shelving, CAEM provided a range of shop shelving systems but predominantly its M25 Wire store shelves. This was custom coloured in hard wearing Anthracite powder-coat and provided with a range of store solutions to cater for the huge range of different packaging and product on display. The wire shelving gives a clean modern look to the shop fittings, they provide extreme strength while allowing more light to permeate through to the products. They also reduce maintenance.

Wooden accents and shelf canopies were implemented in some isles to give a warmer less clinical feel. This even included an integrated cupboard on the wine isle to keep the more valuable products safe.

In some isles CAEM supplied its Ardente LED shelf lighting systems to further highlight the products and draw customer attention.

The Result

The supermarket is now a warmer more inviting place to be with a modern look and feel. The M25 Wire shelving increases the visibility of the products even when the store shelving is fully merchandised.

The various product groups are each displayed more effectively and attractively and the LED shelf lighting in places enhances the look of the retail display, and further increases the visibility provided by the wire.
