About The Client

The client is a large Spanish pharmacy business which specialises in a broad selection of products, including both traditional ranges of medical and pharmaceutical supplies together with offerings from leading cosmetics and perfume brands.

The Project

The Pharmacy owners were looking to refresh the interior of the store with a range of retail pharmacy shelving and retail displays that reflected the modern outlook of the business and the huge range of products that they stocked.

The space needed continuity of shop shelving and colours throughout the store, but with subtle changes to better enhance the products in specific areas. Having seen a number of options the team were keen on maximising the merchandising space they had and providing a modern, professional, clean environment for customers. An environment that would guide customers to the products, and keep them returning to the store.

Any store shelving installed needed to reflect the company brand, match in with promotional units from the various premium suppliers they stocked and effectively show off its differing products.

The Solution

The pharmacy team immediately took a liking to the CAEM shop shelving systems due to their flexibility, the range of accessories and customisation options available for each area of the store.

Out of the store solutions that they viewed the M25 retail shelving stood out. The clever design of M25 allows them to merchandise more product while accessories make it suitable for promotions in every area of the store. Being able to use one shop shelving system allows for continuity throughout the space whilst also allowing the enhancement of the various areas to suit the products.

Within the main pharmacy area of the store they opted for Black powder coated accents and clean White shelves. Within this area they have implemented both shop gondolas and wall units. Perforated back panels (peg board) allow for the units to be quickly reconfigured for shop shelving or hooks as desired. Accessories such as wire risers and baskets allow them to display any size of merchandise effectively.

In the perfume and cosmetic areas of the store, together with custom units they have implemented glass shelving to enhance the products, give better transmission of light and aid visibility. On the wall units they have something special, back lit acrylic panels allow the whole back of the shelving to be illuminated. Combined with the glass shelves these help products stand out and help the store stand out from the competition.
