CAEM are proud to have been one of the core sponsors at this years Special Olympics in Arezzo Italy.
Since 1968 the Special Olympics has been spreading its message: people with intellectual disabilities can succeed when given the opportunity.
This years event brought together 22 teams from 11 regions of Italy to compete and demonstrate the amazing skills and abilities of these people.
The Special Olympics builds confidence in its competitors and moves the societal focus from a persons disability to their ability, from isolation to involvement. The transformative power of sport instils confidence, improves health and inspires a sense of healthy competition.
When the opportunity came to sponsor the 2019 event, which ran during May and June 2019 CAEM were proud to be a part of it.
Viviana Magrini MD of CAEM ITALY said: "As a business CAEM likes to support local causes, and is accutely aware of the impact this support can have. The Special Olympics is an event that works to spread compassion and acceptance in a way that can unite the world." She continues… "When we learned that the Special Olympics was happening in Arezzo, we knew we had to support this amazing cause."
