OFF LICENCE STORE RE-FITTED WITH CAEM S50 OFF LICENCE SHELVING
About The Client
The client is a Northern Ireland based off licence, stocking a huge range of wines, spirits, beers and non-alcoholic beverage options.
The store, far from being a generalist specialises in drinks, which come in a variety of glass, plastic and metal containers, all of which need to be displayed attractively and safely to the consumer.
The owner of the premises was looking for a clean and beautiful retail space that would make the store stand out from the competition. They wanted to do this through the creation of an open, airy feel with clean spaces accented with traditional materials such as timber and slate for their off licence shelving.
The owner contacted the team at Shop Design and Fit (SDF) who looked at their options, from electrical to shelving. SDF recommended the use of a range of timber accents, mixed with the flexible and robust CAEM S50 shelving system. This was to be supplied in a number of different colour combinations to complement the floor tiles, and match perfectly with the rest of the decor within the store. The overall plan was to maximise space, increase light on the products, positively reflect the brand and enhance the shopping experience for customers.
With well over 50 years in the retail shelving industry CAEM shelving was the perfect match for the store.
The S50 is both strong and reliable allowing for even the heaviest items (lots of bottles!) to be merchanised effectively and safely. The S50 was even used within the fridge areas.
The powder coated finish in multiple colours, complements other items in the store, and unlike standard paint is wear resistant and long lasting.
Overall the shelves used provide a safe and attractive merchandising space, catering for the huge variety of packaging types and often heavy product.
